The Mineral Point Railroad Museum was proud to host Mark and Mike Nelson's slide show on Dubuque-area and Southwestern Wisconsin railroading on October 6th, 2012. We had a very nice turnout and Mark/Mike gave a great show.
Mark and Mike Nelson are long-time railfans of the Dubuque area and will be presenting photos of the Dubuque and Southwestern Wisconsin areas including the Mineral Point line. Many of the photos will be from the various railroads serving Dubuque and the surrounding areas, including the Milwaukee Road, Chicago Great Western, Illinois Central, Chicago Burlington & Quincy, Burlington Northern, and Chicago Central & Pacific. The Nelsons' program covered the period from the 1960's to the 1990's.
